The Problem

the error message that appears: Bad request - the CSRF token could not be verified

If you encounter an error message similar to the one in the screenshot, a simple change in the settings of your device can remedy this problem. So far, it seems that this error only occurs when using an IOS device (Apple) with Safari web browser.

The Solution

Three simple steps help to get rid of this error message:

open the settings app

1. Open the Settings App

Scroll down and click on the Safari icon

2. Scroll down and click on the Safari icon

Scroll down and disable the 'Prevent Cross-Site Tracking' switch

3. Scroll down and disable the "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" switch (you can undo this once you downloaded the checklist)
